The Great Taste Awards 2007

We were very excited to win our first Great Taste Award this year for our dark chocolate truffles infused with fresh mint. Regarded as the fine food Oscars, the Great Taste Awards are the UK’s largest independent evaluation of fine food and drink. This year, almost 4500 foods were blind tasted by over 400 experts during a full week in London, several days in Winchester and nine days in the Guild’s test kitchens in Somerset. After this rigorous judging 800 products were recommended for gold and were then judged for a second and a third time in London’s Pillar Hall before each was graded as either a one star, two star or coveted three star gold. So you can imagine how elated we were to receive the highest award in our category, three stars. This has been a fantastic first year for us and the Great Taste Award was the perfect way to celebrate our birthday.

The Vintage Collection

The long awaited vintage collection will soon be arriving and on sale by November. This new collection of chocolates combines our most popular truffles (and a few new ones) into gorgeous vintage-style gift tins, perfect for quiet evenings in front of the fire.

Melt away those winter blues and stressful days with this new collection in the knowledge that our gift tins are also greener than ever before. Once your chocolates are finished we urge you to recycle the gift tins and rest assured that the inner plastic trays are biodegradable. Or even better, you can reuse your gift tin; we think they make perfect storage containers.
